Hey, does anyone own a Kurzweil PC2x.
I've had one for about a year, but all I've used are the installed sounds. I've stuck to the basic sounds programmed within the keyboard.
I know that there's a lot more to this machine... So, I was wondering if anyone knows a thing or two about this keyboard/controller? I've got the manual, but it's kind of ridiculous. I just want to be able to edit and split the keyboard.
How do split (where you can have two keyboard sounds going on at once) and how do you edit/manipulate sounds. For example, combing a Harpsichord and something else? I'm kind of clueless, but I think this is possible.
Also, how could my keyboard get recorded onto a Macbook Pro? It's got:
MIDI: In, Out, Thru (hardware switchable to copy of MIDI Out)
No USB port.
How could I record the sounds that the keyboard offers and obtain sounds from Garageband/Logic, too? Or does the latter not even work?
If none of this makes very much sense, sorry.
Obviously, I'm not very smart with this stuff.
If anyone can help, thanks.
