I'm currently looking at purchasing the 1000PX Professional Expander, the K1000 Workstation, the K2000R without sample option and the MicroPiano. The ME-1 MicroEnsemble is already on it's way to me, which is supposed to contain all of the sounds form the the newer PC2R. That was a no-brainer, the unit is in the stores for $400 and I picked it up for $200. The MicroPiano and the 1000PX I'm also pretty sure about as well because I've red some great reviews on each of them and the price is right.
I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with K1000 or the K2000R without sample option. I'm interested in hearing your review and also if you could answer a few questions.
The K1000 sounds are derived from the K250 right? Is there an onboard sequencer? Is there a floppy drive? I think it has SCSI right?
Is the K2000R more of a synth or sound module? I've read some information on it and all I can derive is that it is a very deep in it's programming features. What about is's presets? Does it have a sequencer? I know it has SCSI and a floppy drive?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
