What are the real differences between the series 1 and series 2 KRK V6s? I have an option to buy a pair of used Series 1s (in "MINT CONDITION") for $200. The Series 2 seem to go for twice as much used.
Some have suggested that the Series 1s actually had better sound/construction. Has anyone had the opportunity to try both? I listened to the VXT4s recently and really liked them, but am skeptical about the bass representation on such small speakers. The V6s seem to be the obvious choice. Unfortunately, I am unable to test them personally (they'll be shipped).
