KRK RP5's or RP8's?

I am buying my first set of monitors for home recording. There are two good local deals on KRK RP5's and RP8's where I am. I have a small studio setup at home (10x10 room) - is there any reason I need 8's over the 5's. The price is good on the 8's but still $150 more than the 5's. I record rock, indie, country - no hip-hop.

Forgot to mention - treatment isn't very good in this room since its such a small apartment and the room gets used for other things. With lack of treatment, would I want to go with a smaller monitor or does it even matter?
 
I'm currently using a pair of the 5s and they work great for what I need them to do. A lot of people I've talked to prefer the 8s as they have a little bit more kick, but the 5s work very well if you don't want to spend the money.
 
I'm using the 5's and I don't think they have much low end accuracy. But if you get a sub, they work good for the mids and highs. I'm using the 5's with KRK's 10" sub and it sounds great.
 
I like my 5s as well. I do alot of classical stuff, mostly solo instuments and small ensembles, and the 5s had more than enough bottom end for me even without subs. Placement also had a huge impact - they sounded great in the store but after I got them home I thought they were going to be unusable until I got them away from the walls and corners. I also found that they sounded tighter after I made a couple of speaker pads for them by gluing together a few Walmart mousepads.

If you can, go with the 8" (or 6", at least).

A room that size (any room, in truth) will need a lot of treatment (bass traps) to put the things under control, take a look (search) on the Studio Building forum.:cool:
