I saw a set of these with a pretty low price tag. I can't find any info online so I am assuming they probably are not worth it but I thought I would ask anyways. I have been looking for a second pair of monitors for quite some time. I am using Event 20/20's right now. I am not really looking to replace them but to add a 2nd "opinion" to my setup if you will haha.
Anyone have any experience with these?

Been using them for near fields for about 9 or so years, powered by a Hafler Pro5000. You can crank them if you want. I think theyll do 100 dbs. Lots of low end. You get used to it after a few mixes.

Just out of curiosity - what do you not like about the 20/20's (if anything)?
What are you hoping to get out of a second set of monitors?

Well I have been using the 20/20's for a few years now. I have never really tried any other monitors and I am curious to see if there might be another pair that I like working with better. I don't have any real complaints at this time. My mixes usually translate ok. My main issue is that I have a really hard time judging the low end on the 20/20s (of course my room is playing into that as well) and I would probably say that the midrange is a little funky on the events. I haven't gotten used to it but I think my mixes come out darker because of me trying to take off some of that midrange edge.

Before I switched over to Dynaudio I had a set of the K-Roks. Really they were not bad monitors. Personally, I prefer them greatly to the older Event 20/20's. I actually like them more than most of the V series KRK's. There are a couple different ones though. KRK also made a set called the "rokit" if I remember right. I used to see people selling the "rokit" ones alot but had them listed as the K-Roks pretty often. This is incorrect as they are not the same. The K-Roks are a little bigger and sound much fuller to me. I think I even have my old K-Rok's in my storage room somewhere.

I have got KRK Rok-it 5's and I love them!

They're not huge, and you can't crank them too terribly loud, but they sound great!
