I've got one of these and it's not too bad for an inexpensive guitar.

I wouldnt pay anywhere near a thousand for that guitar. The tremlo is a lic. floyd.Other makers are offering the same style guitar(charvel) that feature a genuine Floyd, and they are priced under $1000.

Isn't the Pacer your #1 guitar and it's getting pretty worn? I think I recall you posting that you wanted to get a new one, maybe email the company to see if they might reissue one in black--that maple topped one sure looks sweet, though.
If you can get one that feels right-and the money isn't an issue-I say go for it!

I bought a new old stock neck a couple years back - puts me back in good stead for another 20 years. I still would like to get a new one though....

Based on one of Kramer's most popular and historic guitars the Pacer Vintage is a tribute to the era when shred was king. Its Maple body and 25.5 and 22 fret Maple neck and board sear through its USA Seymour Duncan JB (bridge) and JN (neck) pickups. They're controlled by 2-push/pull, series parallel coil tap volume controls with volume bleed mods, 1 tone control and a 3-way mini toggle switch for endless tonal varieties.

We've added the truss rod adjustment to the headstock, so no more taking those necks off for adjustment (like some of those other guys).

The Pacer Vintage is built for ultimate playability. We've kept the neck profile of the famed 83 Pacer and added the 12" radius fingerboard for classic comfort and bends that never plink out.

The Pacer Vintage comes in 2 colors, the Tiger and the Honey Burst. The official release date will be announced soon. We are previewing all of the new Kramer models over the next couple of weeks, so check back!
Check with your area dealers for getting your hands on a true modern classic. MSRP $1200

Yep that's what it is. The first thing that I did was cut that worthless volume bleed mod out. The neck is pretty sweet and the Lic. Floyd Rose is surprisingly good.
