There are some .PCG that I downloaded from the internet and saved to floppy. When I try to upload into the X3 it doesn't recognize it. Is there something else that I have to do to get it to work?

Thanks,
Ben

Are you sure they werent compressed or zipped. Can you import them into any X3 data base softwear?

When I first bought it back in the early 90's the keyboard salesman told me that the X3 disk drive was formatted as a Mac and since I'm downloading from my PC I guess I'm wanting to know if there is a way to change the format from PC to Mac, I guess that sounds kinda stup[id but I had to ask. :)

The disk drive is IBM 720K

You might have a P/C/G for a newer machine. Korg has made a lot of keyboards that use the P/C/G format. Quite a few are interchangeable but only one way. I.E. N264/N364 can open most any P/C/G from any older synth (All the I-series synths, 03RW, and X-Series synths), But the X-3 can't open N-series, etc. A lot of P/C/G files are floating around there that have been lumped together under the umbrella of common Korg synths (Listed above), and it has become difficult to know which synth originally created the file (Thus, not assuring compatibility).

Hi,
I'm a new member, could anyone help me for finding file of X3 original disk, thank you
