i am thinking of getting a guy to throw the korg ma-30 digital metronome in with some other stuff im buying off him to use for a click track for drums.
i was hoping someone out there had some experience with it and could tell me if it'll help or not.
i just dont wanna buy the thing and have it be too quiet to hear over the drums and i just wasted 20$
if anyone has ever used it for this purpose please let me know
thanks!

Get an old drum machine for a click track. I find it really useful to have the 1 sound different than the 2 3 4. (assuming 4/4).

Also, I am pretty particular about the sounds the click is using because if you have the right sounds you don't have to turn the click track up to ear bleed level to hear what you are doing. Some clicks disapear in the snare drum that you are playing and that gets old as does going deaf from a crappy click.

Just opinion but I would think used drum machine, you'll get alot more use out of it.

is it possible to use sonar 4 producer to play ur click track?
right now im just using integrated audio. whenever i use the metronome it records the clicks as well and i cant figure out how to get around this.
im getting a delta44. will i be able to listen to the sonar metronome while recording drums and have the metronome not be recorded as well??
