I recently purchased a karma and Im trying to figure out how to work it. is there any way to split like a combi one side of the keyboard and another program on the other side?

I'm sure there is. Look in the index of your manual for "keyboard split".

I believe that what you might do is something to the effect of opening up the sequencer mode where you will have 16 different channels. The answer probably lies in the fact that you can only use 4 instances of the Karma function at a time. Therefore, if the combi has four channels, you need to see if there is a way to transfer the combi settings into one of the other modes that has more than 4 channels. Then open the porgram you want on the fifth channel and, as stated above, do some sort of keyboard split.

This is by no means an instruction on how to do it, I am just pondering the possibility. I have not tried to do this.

Your other choice is to go on the Yahoo site for the Karma. Stephen Kay (or is it Kaye) the man that invented the thing often answers questions there and he might just answer yours. He defintely knows what the instrument can do and if it can do what you are asking, he knows how too!
