KORG D-1600 attached to the computer

Since there's no KORG-specific group, I place my question here.
Since one year I'm using the KORG D-1600 as a recordoing studio.
Now I'm planning on attaching it to my computer but still looking for an appropriate soundcard and clues for transmitting the data.

Anyone familiar with the D-1600 and attaching/synchronizing it to a computer?

why do you need a computer when you have the D1600

anyway for your question
i don't have an answer but hopefully this get the ball rolling
the D1600 being a standalone multitrack recorder i'd guess you can connect it to your computer like you would a mixer with a descent 2 in 2 out like one of those Midiman

i would love to have a D1600 for when my DAW goes on Bitch mode like she's doing right now
