I am looking FL at a decent price. Either B&M or Online.

Thanks

Thanks Whataguy.

Gidge...not to interested in stealing or gettin' busted for it.

Anyone know if any stores like bestbuy, CC or Staples sells it?
Couldn't find it on the websites for those stores but...hey...never know.

oh, i guess you never copied a casette, CD, or movie from a friend, huh.....or taped something off the radio......

anyway, just pay the price at www.fruityloops.com
its worth it....

Gidge...just because you and many others justify it...that doesn't mean I do. To answer you question. Yes, as a child I would copy tapes or record songs off the radio. As an adult, I have made a decision, based on the law, that it is wrong. I don't care if the majority are doing it...

And ...I don't want to "just pay the price" at fruityloops. I know it's worth it as I have used the demo. I want to find a ligitimate deal.

Please don't take it personally...I just don't appreciate your accusations.

i really have never seen fl being sold in a store. I purchased it a few years ago and it was all downloaded. They have a box version
but the great thing about image line is the updates are always real improvements. the price has remained just about the same making it imho the best bargain sofware in digital audio.

yeah, if you use a pirated version of FL the feds are going to bust your ass big time....they will probably send the men in black....they have a special deal worked out with belgium, or argentina, wherever they make that stuff.

Buy the Pro version online for $49. If you need the piano roll, get the Full version online for $99. Whatever you do, don't go for the boxed version. It goes for more money than either of these, and doesn't include the lifetime free updates... you have to pay extra for that.

What is it about these ridiculously low prices that isn't enough of a deal for you?

Yeah, buy it direct, especially if not doing so means paying extra for the updates.

damn you're full of principles (which is good!) but then you don't want to buy it at regular price... strange... or is it just the fact that it is illegal... you would copy if it were legal?

guhlenn

ps maybe you can copy the full version and then transfer the amount that you find reasonable to the fruityloops co bankaccount!;)

Man...I really struck a chord (he he) with this one.

I just don't prefer to use illegal software
and
I need to find it cheap...i.e. on sale, a deal, packaged with something (as I am on a tight budget right now...just spent $1000 to fill out some recording equiptment). I know another $100 might not seem like a big deal to alot of you but it really is to me right now.

Thanks for all your responses, they were useful in my purchase of FL. This board and it's members have been great over the past few weeks while I learn some of the basics of recording.
