A good for instance is this SweetNubs guy. I apologize for another post addressing this but this is something that truly sticks in my craw. Man, what a jerk. Even if there were the slighest bit of truth in, as was pointed out over and over, his gross generalities, it is always eaiser to be condecsending and negative rather than encouraging, positive and CONSTRUCTIVELY CRITICAL.
To do so also forces people to confront their own shortcomings rather than dwell in the swill of their delusional world of descent upon everthing but themselves.
As for engineers and musicians alike, I almost always found the lesser of them to be snobish particularly about the music. Particularly engineer types that have no musical ability, taste or ear. These people rarely are in the position to be judged as immediatley as a musician that is performing. And that is probably deliberate much like someone coming to this site to bash home recording without posting any of their, one would suppose, grand accomplishments in the field.
I have no use for those that are always saying everything sucks. This is one of the phoniest and most fradulent excercises in insecurity ther ever was and is usually from someone trying to keep the glaring eye of truthful and sincere disertion away from themselves.
As for home recording, it appears many, many highly respected muicians have opted for this method of working becuase it makes sense in this day and age DUE TO TECHNOLOGICAL ACHEIVEMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a wonderful time to be a musician, too bad Nubby can't share in the pleasure.
