Popped up on my Facebook the other day a video of some fellow Melbournians (who have been making waves around the world for a couple of years now and still going strong) recording on their humble Tascam 38. I've noticed prices on these machines have skyrocketed around here in the last couple of years, now fetching in the $1000's.
Apart from their uniquely memorable (and great imo) band name, these 7 dudes make some pretty interesting psychedelic/garage-y tunes. Super prolific (10 albums released in 5 years) and crazy big world tour schedules with epic shows as well.
Something needs to be said about the mixer though....
