Kind of Lost here...

We're looking at maybe trying out a program like Drumkit from Hell to get perfect sounding drums/time instead of going through the whole recording process with drums. We're not too familiar with MIDI however, and I know it plays a big roll in the process? Or is there another way to get the samples out on the program into the way they go in our songs? Any help is appretiated. thanks
 
Either sequence the drums with MIDI, or use an electric kit to trigger them, or close-mic a kit, run it through Drumagog, and use it to trigger DKFH.
