Kids electric Guitar

Hello,
would you have a model to recommend for a kid electric guitar ?
I've search but found not much...

any small sized strat like ?

The Fender Squiers would do nicely.

how small is the kid? the fernandes retrorocket has a pretty narrow neck and slightly smaller body than other strat style guitars. i have one and although the neck is kind of skinny, it's still no problem for me to play it. you can pick them up new on ebay cheap.

Every one of the Squire minis I've picked up(about half dozen) have had ragged frets protruding off of the fretboard.

that does'nt sound good. maybe a tech could clean it up? maybe there's something better?
