Kick Question

Now here is the thing the band I'm recording wants to use a sampled kick for there kick drum but....... I don't have a trigger system. Is there any way I can record the temp kick track and use a program to go in and creat another track w/ the sampled kick without going in and popping one in at a time? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've put this thread in a couple of places but I know not everybody goes to the same forums........ Drumagog has already been suggested but there server is down but if anyone knows where I can download a copy of the trail version.

This might be kind-of a weak suggestion, but if you record the drummer to a click track, it'd be a lot easier to replace the kick drum parts later, using loops.

already crossed my mind but.... there more of a slipknot (multiple speratic doublebass fills) and Tool (lots of time changes) so I need something that can pretty much just change the track into the sample they want.

Do you have midi capability ? You could always record a midi track of the kick and then use it to trigger your sample.
