Keyboards and Fruity Loops

Are there certain kinds of keyboads that you can use with fruity loops or you can us basicly any kind? What kind of cords would I need to connect the Keyboard to my computer? I'm new to this. Any help will be appreciated.

Any keyboard with a midi out will work as long as you have a way to get a midi signal into your computer.

If you don't, you'll need one with a USB connection which cost slightly more.

You don't a cord at all with a USB connection - just plug it into your USB port.
