keyboard delay

I just set up my first pro tools 8 le system. I have been able to record vocals without a problem but when I play my keyboard there is a delay from when I hit the keys and when it sounds. I set up my midi cables per the instructions. I have tryed every combination of settings on my mbox 2 to see if it makes any difference but no luck. I have been a professional musician for years but I guess not too tec for this stuff.

Look in the FAQ at the top of the forum, look under the "Using Pro Tools" heading. The answer to your question is there!! You need to turn down the hardware buffer.
