key change

Im sure this question has been asked before but I just joined today. Great to have some CEP fellow users here. Hey when I insert a wav file into session, lets say of acoustic guitar. Then I get to a portion where I want that same wav file to change chord or even key. Duh how do I do that?Thks all for your help.
 
I assume you're talking about using loops of some kind? If so, right click on it and select "loop properties" and you'll get a box that will allow you to change the key of the loop if you tell it what key it's currently in.

Or, you could play the guitar, lol. :D
 
Hey thx Chris. Yeah when I need something that might go beyond my abilities, (doesnt take much) I will resort to a loop that fits. I consider myself a great vocalist and harmonizer but only mediocre at guitar. I know in ACID program I just have to put in a marker and the chord changes when it gets to that point. I was having a little more difficulty in CEP. Thanks for your reply I will give it a try.
