My buddy is all ga ga over the new Kerry King JCM800. He's a died in the wool Mesa man but said this might be his first Marshall ever and the last amp he'll ever need. Will anyone back up this arguement?

i haven't played one, but i read the GW story about the whole thing...supposedly kerry's amp is like the "holy grail" of JCM's - i guess even the guys at marshall were floored by the sound of it when he sent it in. supposedly they went to painstaking lengths to perfectly reproduce his amp
so yea...i guess if you like slayer's tone, go for it
