kel hm-1 with lexicon alpha

i just got both of them today, and i'm trying to set it up -- I followed all the instructions in the manual, and the mic isn't recording

anyone else ever experienced anything like this?

or, any ideas as to what may be wrong?

I use windows xp, by the way

Tha lexicon alpha doesnt have a built in preamp! Your KEL mic is a condenser so therefore it needs phantom power to power it up! Get yourself a preamp!
