Hi there. Sorry to swamp the clinic with posts. I`m finishing off the last tunes of the 33.

This song is fresh off the peg, as in recorded 30 minutes ago.

Its the first version with only guitar and two vocals. I am undecided as to add more guitars, eg. solos and nice plucking because

I recorded it live, the guitar and vocal at the same time so the timing is abit off. But, after a few listens it has a nice live feeling which I may keep.

I would love to know what you think? keep as is for a that feeling or add more?

I reckon leave it as is. You've created all the dynamics you need with what you have :) Another great tune. You keep impressing me. It's disheartening....stop it already ya git :p jk

Yeah... 'cause I just hate it when I get to the clinic and there's three new Erland songs on the front page.

:p

:D

Anywhoo... I liked the feel on this one.. and I don't think it needs to be done differently (you could add stuff.. or not.. :p)... but I liked your old guitar tone better. I know you started to mix in the pezio pickup from the git with the mic sound... but I think it needs a bit more live mic sound and a little less pick-up. Or, just go back to whatever you used to do to record gits. :D

Can't imagine anyone complaining

about a new Erland post:D

Do you record with a click track?
The timing always seems very GOOD and natural at the same time.
No small feat in itself.
You really give this bbs class friend.
Another wonderful song!:D

Continuing good fortune to you Erland.....

Man, I love your stuff

Another awesome tune! It stands fine as it is. If you wanted to add anything, some bongos might work well backing the piece.

Oh thanks

Ian, thanks for checking this out man. I think that I may just leave it, on the second spin it sounds quite nice. Keep it simple. I`ve got a cracker for you by the way.

WATYF. Nice one man. Glad you liked it, sorry about the guitar, I`m just trying out new things. I did have a few problems with this one though and its quite a naked sound. Cheers.

HevyD47Ca. Oh great cheers. Usually a click track but often like this one not. Thanks for listening.

sloop. Cool. It funny becasue I played this a lot with a bongo drum and it sounded nice. I dont have one to record with though. Thanks for listening and the nice words.

Cheers

I'm sure this and the other two that I haven't gotten a chance to listen to are fantastic. :). Downloading right now for my flight back home :).

Maybe I'll get out the bongos when I get back and send you the results if it's not too late?

You said you were pressing CD's on friday. Is that today or next friday?

Cheers.

btw, now I understand why all you UK guys end your posts with Cheers. Been working in the UK this last week and I've heard the word 'cheers' more in one week than I had previously heard it in my entire life I think. :)

cheers.

Cheers

What is it you guys say all the time, dude?

Nice one, I hope you swung in true London style.

Another fine job, love your playing in this song even more than the vox which is also excellent as usual.

I noticed that most of your posts on nowhere are not enabled for listening or download? whats up with that. I was hoping to catch up on the ones I missed!
Maybe its just a glitch.

Keep em coming
Peace
Bill

Yeah, I could hear bongos on this for sure, but it is good as is. Nice work again. This is very nice as usual.

Did you use just one mic? Balance sounds pretty good.

Cheers ;) :)

Sounds great as is Erland...hey you didn't steal this from dobro eh?:D j/k man, but it does sound like something that he would do imho. Alway's great songs by you man!

Fer chrissake Erland, don't you ever write a clunker?

Beautiful song. I love it.

As far as the orchestration - I could definitely hear this done with a band. The way you play it kind of implies a band even though you're just doing it solo.

Great little fade-out vamp at the end....

Yeah, after a couple listens this kind of demands a bass/drums/guitar treatment. Not that it ain't great as is of course.

This REALLY reminds me of Ryan Adams' latest stuff. Dig it.

Another great tune, man.

wfaraoni. Hi man, glad youve listened to this and the others. On the 5th of october I`m letting all the songs go on line at NWR at the same time. I have to polish off two tracks and the CD is ready to burn. Its free, so when I`m finished, tell me and its yours. Better than downloading and a couple of cool things too. Anyway cheers.

Thanks skids. I recorded it with the mic and guitar at the same time and then tryed to record a stereo guitar on. So yeh, one mic. Real simple, I`m going to keep it as is now, thanks.

freshears. Thanks ears. 11. Writings on the wall was inspired by a song of his actually. Lol. Cheers man and thanks for listeing, I`ll keep it as it is for the CD and upload.

groucho. Oh great stuff, thanks. I think this would be good with a band too. Its very cheezy pop. i thought that on the first listen it demands more but after a few it sits well on its own. I like Ryan Adams. I`ve heard his GOLD album. thanks.

Thanks again guys. I`m almost finished the CD so I`ll let you know soon if anyone is interested in a copy.

Hola

Yes I like this but it would sound much better with a full production, I know what you have from your website but I look farward to your future projects. Very good.
