Just Starting Need Help

Hi
Im a part time DJ and want to get into recording. I arleady have:
2 turntables and a mixer of course
a mixing board (Behringer Eurorack MX 802A)
Drum Machine (Boss DR-550Mk11)
I-MAC computer
MAC powerbook 540c
and of course speakers and an amplifier

I just wanted to ask for some advice. I want to go w/ the Computer but it costs so much but oon the other hand a Portastudio or something like that would be stupid because I already have a board. Also could I use myy labtop as an Midi controller and the I-Mac as a recorder (because the midi interface for the I-Mac cost alot more than the one for the labtop. My budjet is around $400 right now but I dont have to buy it all right now.
Any advice is greatly aprieciated.

What do you want to record? how many tracks, what type of instruments... etc. otherwords, more details please.

Sorry, I want to record a drum track from my Drum machine then loop some samples over it and mabe do something with a Synthasizer (I dont have a good sampler or Synthaziser yet but Im defenetly going to get them and also want to incorperate them in my music). Basicly I dont know what I need to start Digitaly recording, I mean I could just have the out from my Board go to the in on the computer but then I might as well get a good tape deck. And I also want to be able to sequenser my DM, Synth and sampler using my Computer.
