Ive just put this pc together as i think its what im going to buy... just want to know your thoughts before i take the plunge....

I have a Delta 44 that i shall install...

is this a good deal?
would i need to a standard soundcard.... with speakers just for when i havent got my p.a speakers for monitors plugged in?

That sounds like an awful fancy computer to be planning to monitor through PA speakers.

But yeah, it sounds like you've got everything you need for a good DAW...

If your fsb can go 333Mhz, then your mobo should support PC2700 ram, so ditch the PC2100 and get some good stuff

Looks great, and I agree get the 2700 ram and maybe even go with 1gb if you can I don't know pounds but 2700 ddr runs about 75 dollars in US. And no you don't need another sound card if you don't mind leaving it hooked to the monitors you have. I actually run my system through my stereo setup (a Yamaha Natural Sound system with a 450watts/channel power amp and Cerwin Vega's Digital Series C-9-E's) (neighbor's hate it!) Only one other question, why a floppy drive? Without it you could cram a 2nd HD in that tiny case for your music drive. Just a thought.

Ditto the faster RAM. OEM Athlon processors do not come with a cooling fan, so you need a cooling solution. Over here the Shuttle systems are premium priced, perhaps they are more reasonable for you.
