just listen?

I had a listen....cool intro.

The vocals are a bit muddy.

Nice guitar, especially around 2:00, then the build up about 2:40.

I would have liked it better if singing vocals had kicked in after the intro, rather than staying with talking.

You have a good basis for a kick butt song.

I had a few listens.....TRUE :)
 
im trying to listen but on my laptop its just not coming through loud enough...

sorry try out some compression or a maximizer...

i barely can hear it but what i hear, i like :)

cheers for liking it but i will most certainly not use massive compression on this mix!!!
 
hey im with you on the compression, it is the most overused effect in modern music...

but there must be something out there to bring up the levels without sacrificing the dynamics...

Since youre still workin' on mixing it,..I wont comment on the mix. I agree with an earlier post that the vocals should kick in after the intro.
But,..since it is expected and feels like it should be there,... maybe it's the fact that it doesnt do that that kept me listening.

I liked the tune. I'm real partial to female vocs though,...not too much I dont like if theres a female vocalist.

Hi,
I was listening with h/phones 7 the toms seems to thud a bit.
I thnik you need to do some carving to reduce the muddiness of the bass & a few bits but I like the piece. I imagine the chanseur(sic) is telling us all to go get stuffed.
Where those ringing notes harmonics? they sounded good & well placed.
Keep mixing. I'd enjoy hearing the "ultimate" version.

yes, they are harmonics, at first just one guitar, towards the end two.
