Heheh...sickly funny there, Greg.

Jeff, dunno yet. Can't tell through the dressing but we change that tomorrow I think so I'll know more then. Just stitches though. Don't think it was a big incision though. Amazing what they can do in spite of needing access for power tools to do the work.

Hey Cory,

Hope all is well with you, and you have speedy recovery.
Drink plenty of water while taking those meds. as the opioids will dry your system out.

I know all too well about your situation, as I have done the same to myself,
while working at a roofing company in Wichita, Ks.
I thought I was superman, and could keep throwin' around 110 lb rolls of roofing
materials like they were nothin,...unfortunately I found out,...I'm NOT made of steel!

Hope you have an excellent holiday, and New Year! Get better soon!

I hope that as long as they were in there that they replaced all those old, dried up capacitors. ;) Welcome back.

Ohhhh roofing....yeah...watching the guys doing our roof this summer while my back was starting to hurt I thought "wow THAT job looks like a sure-fire back killer!"

Yeah...I have a small frame and I've always wanted to do big work along with everybody else but the reality is that my body is just not built for that...my dad has a bad back too as well as my brother so that should've been a red flag that I need to live with caution...I think the 2005 injury and surgery was a huge awakening but not enough...this time I think I've resigned myself that I need to ask for help, and with certain things just realize I can't.

I'm 40 now...in fact yesterday was my birthday. Some say it was sad to have to spend my 40th getting surgery but by this time, compared to what I've been dealing with the last 3 months, it was a good gift! :)

Shucks Cory, happy birthday and glad you're on the mend!

Hey Cory... I'm glad to hear the surgery went well, and that your back is feeling better. Yep, take it easy for a while, and don't go lifting any MM-1000's. :)

Happy Birthday too!

-Tom.
