It was $120 for a guitar, strap, and a battery operated amp.
I know I got ripped, but you should have sceen the look on My kids face when he saw it it the local music store. :)
The strap is to long for him though, any Ideas on how to shorten it?

i don't think i know many 3 year olds who could stay stood up, balanced and support a guitar for maybe than about 2 seconds :p

i wonder if, in twenty years time and he's a world famous guitarist he'll still be playing the 'guitar he learnt on'? :D :p

This guitar is like 3/4 size. The frets are smaller, and it has to be tuned higher.
He can walk around with the guitar on, and the amp has a clasp to hook to his pants. The strap is to long and cuts into his shoulder.

Not sure if a regular sewing machine would do it. Hand sewing would be brutal. Maybe take it to a shoe repair shop - they must have the sewing machine strong enough to sew that size material. And BTW hope the little one gets right into the guitar, becomes the next SRV and buys you a big house in Florida so you can retire! All my dad did was tell me to turn it down (and bought me headphones) LOL..... :D

Surely you have an old belt laying around somewhere. Cut one to the right length and give the kid another thrill, a custom made guitar strap. If you don't already have one, check at your local thrift store, they sell for a buck or so and you might even find one with a cool pattern on it to match the guitar.

Too cute! My son is 1. He has a ukelele and some bongos. Can't wait to get him his first electric!
