I don't really want help with this mix, I know what's wrong. I just wanted to share it with you guys.

It's called End of Days and links Eastern and Western sounds with guitar that's fun to play.

That's all, just something fun to play.

BTW on the next episode of Dr. Who, they're calling it the End of Days.

I thought I'd share some music that has the same title.

Some nice sounds and playing again....pretty cool tune.

I like it. :D

Very nice and well played.

It put me in mind of Pentangle, Trader Horne, Fairport, and outfits like that from the Ancient Days.

For me, the best thing about this is that it sounds so genuine.

Well, thank you, CheapAdviceGuy, I guess I am kind of ancient myself. I like to think that I'm genuine because I play everything except the drums. Are there drums in this track?

It's guitar, harp, organ, piano, and recorder. I forget if there's drums.:)

Man, I've like your stuff so far, and this is no exception. This is a really sweet piece. Nicely played, recorded & mixed! :)

Thanks very much, WhiteStrat. You're a guitar player, and I try to write what is fun to play so I don't get bored with it. I just bought some new fresheys for my classical git. I may have to revisit this since you guys are liking it. :)

Nice job on the tune. It seems to have an "analog vibe" that really comes through in the mix. Perhaps it's the closeness of the guitar but it's nice and thick. Solid... Love all the instruments coming in and out of the song too....

Thanks, ido1957, The recording was done on a TASCAM 2488, which is digital, but I might have picked up an analog sound through the effects chain.

I'm not using that setup now, but sometimes I wish I were. I'm in Sonar now, which can get a bit sterile.:)

Man, I love this kind of playing...acoustic guitar has a lot of character and complexity to it's tone, very nice. Well played! Did not expect the harmonica but it seemed to fit well and added to the vibe....love the flute!
Great listen for a Saturday morning!

Yeah, the guitar is really close sounding, but nice and bright with those new strings. I too would have been surprised by the harp had I not read about it in queepy's post...it sounds really nice though. I love the fact that the supporting instruments just pop in for a visit and then make way for the next sound to come along.

You definitely have your own sound...I can't quite pinpoint it, but I know it when I hear it. It is a strange blend of medieval and tropical vibes.
