Just downloaded the SX Demo and am confused about.... (also an SL question)

the solo button in the mixer. Sometimes when I press it it sets the recorded enable button. I then have to disable recording and press the overall solo button to unsolo the track. Sometimes it works as expected. Any advice? I imagine it is a mode problem or something.

Also, I am thinking about SL over SX. I don't need suround sound and as long as the automation works as well as VST I will be fine. Anyone using SL?

It was a switch that is enabled by default in the "editor" dialog of the "preferences" dialog. I forgot what it was called but it was the first one.
