just bought an evolution mk249c

i cannot get any sound. im using a delta 1010. how do i route my midi to play?
 
ok, im not using the delta 1010's midi in port but i didnt think i needed to... its a usb audio device.
 
ok i got sound by chaning under the control panel the sounds and audio devices to microsoft GS wavetable SW synth. is that really what i want? i thought there was a way to get it to go through the 1010. also, the sound is extremely delayed, and no, i don't have the delay knob turned right.
 
what software are you using? The MK249c is just a controller, it generates no sound. It can play sounds from teh Wavetable synth (your soundcard's MIDI sound generator), the Delta has no MIDI sounds. You should have SOundstudio that came with the Evolution. Read it's tutorials.
