Nice bass tone - it keeps a growl throughout proceedings.
The 1st few bars after the drums came in in a big way they seemed a little overwhelming - but that settled down.
The main vocals are good - a bit heavily compressed I thought.
The bvox could use a boost.
Initial thoughts were Ozzy meets a funky backline.
This is a nice piece of funk with a metal edge.

Good stuff.
You really should have trimmed the beginning & end of extraneous sounds.

Wow, what a tight band. Love the intro, so tight.
Love the scream of the vocal coming out of the bridge and the guitar rising with the voice then the ripping lead.
That's nothing short of cOoL.

This is AMAZING!!!!

Phish are my favourite band, and Umphreys McGee rank highly in my books, the intro reminds me of them! Sounds like a bit of chilli peppers as well.

Love it.

Great track!

Highest complement I can pay... puttin it in my mp3 player :P

Love the bass!

Thanks guys, I'll send my regrards to the bass player. This was recorded live at practice except for the vox. The vox are probably a little overcompressed, but I wanted them to be almost harsh for the tune.

Yep trim off that extraneous stuff...

From a listening perspective I'd just say the guitars are a little brittle, vocals maybe also. I'd try and find that frequency and trim it down a db or two.

From a writing standpoint it is super funky metalish and very catchy. Singing and playing is superb and the drums sound excellent. Bass is okay, well incredible...

Thanks for the input. I think I might have the vox overcompressed as well as the guitars causing the harshness. I think I'm gonna double up some of the guitar parts to get some more balls out of them as well

I was blown away by this one. It reminds of the Infectious Grooves! Bass Sound (and playing)is killer - I would love to know more about that signal path. I have to agree with the idea of bringing the backing vox up just a bit more. Great tune, I really enjoyed it.

Wow, funk-fuckin'-tastic!
What a great voice, love it. That bass sounds awesome. I love the way it's mixed, it really has oomph...;). Hasn't anybody mentioned the drums, yet? They're so damn tight and sound amazing t me. Well done, awesome, more please!

Joey :):):):)

I like the singer plenty.

Nice job all around. Snare could be a little hotter.
