i am a legend..................a legend that wants to know if any of you use a jp-8080 a jp 8000 or an e-mu protheus sound mod. if so tell me the difference between a jp-8080 and the 8000. 1 has keys and more voices. the other has cool fx for vocals and what not. i have heard the protheus sound module and i wanted to crack my friend over the head and take his..........hey thats what friends are for..i have a xp-60(4 sound cards installed) and a dr.660 running into it midi.
i wanna expand with the jp 8080 or 8000 and the protheus. any suggestions or better sounding modules. what about the "nano" series by alesis? thanx 2 all!!!!

If you meant the Proteus 2000, I think you will find a hard time finding a better ROMpler module with this elaborate synth features. Considering its price, it's arguably the best bang for the buck, unless you require that it has a good insert FX routing which the Proteus 2000 lacks.
