Mine is a MR16 HD/CD. It has one or two advantages over the 8 - in particular the AUX OUT sockets, you can take any track and feed it into a processor before re-recording the modified sound. I record the raw sound on 1/2, feed it back via the AUX OUT and a couple of patch leads and re-record to 3/4 via the internal effects processor. Also you have all the extra tracks for bounce down finishing at 15/16 for conversion to the .WAV file.
