Johnny Cash's latest: I believe this is another recording by Rick Rubin. It sounds beautiful and clean. Anyway, if you look at the front cover you'll see the "isolation" booth is what looks to be persian carpets draped on the walls!!!

It's either the front or back... I didn't buy, I was just looking at it in the store.

Thats an interesting recording. I dont hear much reverb. Its a nice break from all the processed stuff. Very organic sounding.
I bought that album because it may be his last. Rick Ruben? Didnt he also do slayer albums?

Ruben has produced the Beastie Boys, Slayer, Danzig, The Cult, Cheryl Crow, Tom Petty and a bunch of others. He's done a few albums now with Cash and they are all amazing.
