Hello everyone, I know it's impossible... But I was wondering if someone with a lot of experience on the subject can help me here. I'm trying to figure out the signal flow of this studio, there are some clues in the pictures when zooming in, the easiest part is where all the drum machines are, the rest is the problem... I found some information but it's not enough, he uses six Roland mc-202 at the same time to generate polyphony, with them he controls The Big modular synthesizer. And its 64 step sequencer, receiving many triggers from a modded 606 drum machine which is synched to the computer... It's all that I know.
Thank you!

Ayyyy! A fellow Frusciante fan! He’s the whole reason I’m into music. Just bought The Empyrean on vinyl a few days ago. Looks like he ditched his tape machine for a digital flow. I’m sure you know the console is a Neve. Though it may be custom made because I can’t find anything like it?! I KNOW those are 1073 style preamps on the upper end of the console.

I can’t really help you out but it looks a hell of a lot different than his studio when he recorded Curtains.

The mixing console is a Neve of early 70'
much desired "toy" for sound processing experts ,
the rack on the left of console have a couple of 1176 ,
monitors are Barefoot
on the right side apart the Elektron drum machines , there is a Roland modular , probably a System 100 .
