My setup:
HD24
Sonar 5 producer
Motu 2408MK3
PC with 1 gig ram never any problems running audio
Now, here is what is going on. I have been running this setup for about 3/4 years without a glitch. I wanted to try to use outbaord gear through the 8 analog in/out of the Motu 2408MK3. I had help from people on the BBS and it worked great thanks to them. My problem now is if I play audio through Sonar all is cool. Media player, Sound forge, Real player etc. is scwred up. Any audio has a funny jittery sound to it. I have never had this before? Everything is set back to the way it was before I tried to use analog outbaotd gear but still nothing helps. I have reinstalled Motu sound card and software 5 times, reinstalled Sonar 5 and Sound forge, still no good. Now, Im wondering if something isnt screwd up. Maybe the HD24 or Motu. Funny as I ran wave profiler in Sonar, it checked 44.1 and 48k and they are ok. It does not recognise anything above 48K even with HD24 set to digital input and at 88 or 96k. Trackrat has helped me a lot, he thought maybe a clock issue and he may be right. I thought I'd post in another forum I hate to bug him again,
he has been very helpful Anyone have ideas? I connected up my second HD24 alesis and still the same issue. So the Alesis HD24 is out of the question. Has to be some type of conflict I'm missing.
