jimmy eat world drum sound

Does anyone know what mics/set was used on the new jimmy eat world cd, i think those drums sound really good, my guess is dw, but i don't know about the mics

And, you are right, I couldn't just go ask them.
I don't know them...
And would likely be hard pressed to get a hold of them.
 
my 1st thought when you said that was cool, but then that was crushed by the fact that they are probable out touring now
 
Any idea where they recorded?
I haven't heard the new album, so I have no clue to be honest.
 
Cello Studios in la, thats where they did the drums, they did the rest of it in Az
 
there are studio pics on their website.
as far as i can tell they ust akg 414's on toms, sm57 on the snare, senn. 441 underneath, somo lomo capsule mic for the room...and i dont know about the overheads.........
