jbl jrx115 bad? good?

i need some better mains for our practice PA. we don't have a huge budget and i'm looking to stay under 250 a speaker, i know that i get what i pay for, but the JBL jrx115 seems to be the best bang for the buck, anyone have anything bad to say about these? any good?

I've been using the JBL EON 15's (the original gray ones, not the cool black ones) for years and have found them reliable and good-enough sounding. It sounds like that's all you're looking for, and from a quick look at the specs on the JBL website they look like unpowered versions of mine.

What are you running through the PA? If you're using it for vocals during rehearsals only, get a handful of wedge monitors with 12" speakers. If you also use the PA for playing out you probably want to go bigger, maybe a pair of wedge monitors and a pair of 2-ways with 15s and horns. But remember, you don't need a massive PA system for rehearsals (although it is a lot of fun).
