JBL EON 15G2 vs Wharfdale Titan 15a?

Hi,

I'm interested in buying either of these speakers

JBL Eon 15 G2 £599 pair

Has anyone had any experience with either of these speakers?

Which would you recommend out of these for a 5 piece soul band? I would like to be able to mic the kick, snare and possibly use a pair of overheads?

What are your thoughts / experiences with these speakers?

I've been using EONs for years---no problems except for periodic maintenance on screws and nuts that work themselves loose.

Just picked up a pair of passive Titans for spot monitors and am impressed. So far, they run neck-and-neck with the JBL stuff (and are less expensive on this side of the pond).

You're probably not going to be really happy with either until you add subwoofer(s). The JBL EON G2 powered subwoofer was a real disappointment to me---the first one delivered didn't work and the second one was noisy and just not impressive.
