JBL Eon 1500 vs. Eon 15 G2

I'm debating whether to get a pair of active Eon G2s or passive Eon 1500s. The Eon G2s seem to have a lot more power than pretty much all other JBL speakers with 15" woofers, at 400 watts. How do the 1500s compare if they were powered by a QSC RMX 1450 or Crown CE power amp? (they both deliver about 280 watts at 8ohms RMS) JBL lists the same max SPL on both speakers. Thanks.

You just cant beat the eon powered for convienence. You can just run mic cables from speak to speak, and they also make kick ass monitors.
