As far as I know, you can only buy them online. Which means that the old way of playing a guitar to see if it feels and sounds like you is not present...Too Scetchy for me!!!!!!!!! I don't care how cheap they are. $

Decent if you ask me. You could have a differnt opinion after playing one though.

I bought two Tursers in the last six months. One twelve string acoustic and also a semi hollow. The twelve string cost $300 and plays well. The semi hollow is an ES335 copy and it is really sweet. Plays great, feels great, sounds great. Bith caught my eye at my local music store. And I was able to play both before I decided to purchase them. Are they as good as a $2000 guitar? I doubt it, but I couldn't dish out that kind of money if I wanted.

I played a few acoustics at a shop in Sacramento. Played better than an epi acoustic but not as nice as a seagull.

For the money, I like my Jay Turser. The bad thing about these is the electronics. The fit/finish is nice, it plays well. I got the electric resonator one - I keep it tuned to open chords and use it for slide.

I don't think I would recommend them as my main guitar though. Unless you swap out all of the electronics.

I noticed a local shop carries them now. But I bought mine on EBay without any problems.

I'd replace the electronics on any entry level guitar. I haven't ever played an entry level guitar with electronics (pots) to my liking. Sure, some may be 'okay' but it's under 5 bucks for a pot (unless you want active electronics) so why not swap them out? It's not exactly a huge job anyway.

Okay

I was looking for a bass by them. It felt okay, but was a little top heavy and deemed it better to spend a lil extra on an Epiphone.
