I've lost part of clip but there is an outline of the .wav that was there.

I'm using X1 Producer and we just got done tracking some layers. when I was checking over what I had I noticed that one clip has an outline of the .wav that was there but its' empty. it only last for a little more than half the clip and then fills back in. I was hoping it was gust a graphical glitch but where it's not solid there is no sound. the only thing that was done to this track was a punch. Has anyone else had this happen? Help would be greatly appreciated.

I have never had this happen but I would go to your audio folder and find the wav file in question and try replacing it, when it is outlined it usually means that X1 cannot find the file but it was there

It sounds like you might have set the wrong punch in point & Sonar has partially overwritten what was there.
But the original clip should still be in your Audio folder

Having the outline there sounds like the Mute Tool was used on that section of the clip....?

Thanks for all your input. I just found the attached wave file and replaced it.
