Slowing becoming un-noob.
Alright, here's my thought.

This Guitar

Xavier XV-600 Guitar
http://store.guitarfetish.com/xvblmedr18ro.html

With these mods...

Fernandes Sustainer
http://www.activemusician.com/item--EM.FSK101

Built in compressor/limiter
http://store.guitarfetish.com/cofrjatoinsu.html

Built in mid-range booster/wahwah
http://store.guitarfetish.com/onswwamiboco.html

Then other minor upgrades, like knobs possibly and such. But those I can figure out easily enough.

So How do I install these things? Will I need to make a new hole in the back of the guitar for every one of those effects?
Or will I just need to make one for the fernandes sustainer?

Thanks.

Most of those should have instructions included, though they can certainly all run off of the same battery. There are only two problems, that is a LOT of stuff to be putting in one guitar, so there may not be room for it all, which would mean you would have to rout stuff out, and make a cover for the new cavity. Second, that would be an awful lot of knobs - at least, to my mind.

Alright, thanks for the input.

imho: don't do it.

Xaviere guitars may be great, but you have no guarantee you'll keep liking it. and all those mods won't increase resale value enough to justify.

think about sticking with passive mods (like coil-splitting, phase switching, etc., better pickups, improved bridge/hardware, if needed)

and get those same effects in pedals or a multi- unit, which you'll keep even if you sell the guitar.

but it's your mods :D

Hmmmm, yeah. I figure I'm getting in over my head. I definitely want to add a fernandes sustainer to one of my guitars. I love those things. But those other effects were for fun.

It is a semi hollow so you will have plenty of room to fit the components into the body.
however you will most definately need to make an access hole in order to install the components. but yes they will all fit.

I wonder if someone ever told EVH don't do it and do you know how much one of his mods are worth today?
and thems some butt fuugly mods too.:D
besides it is not about resale value it is all about finding your individual tone.

Get the playing bug and you'll forget about (and not have time for) the modding bug ;)

Except sometimes the building/modding bug leads to the playing bug. I just finished a new Strat about a month ago, and I haven't been able to put the damn thing down.
