So I used to work at an electronics store. I worked there to get enough money to get an album out. After releasing it, I quit. I still go in there all the time though to get a mic clip or guit strings or chat with my old boss or something.
Anywho, I was buying a midi cable for like 7 bucks, and he said to go ahead and take it for free, because he has 2,000 of them. And turns out he wasn't kidding! He got them all when clearing out a building from a "going-out-of-business" business. Usually he recycles cables, but we thought it'd be a better idea and try and sell them for super cheap. Not much money in it for either of us if any at all, but we thought it's a good cause.
Haha, this almoast sounds like one of those "1 post spammer" scams with a cheesy intro story. Like those "male enhancement" comments you get on myspace. Don't worry. I've been here for a while
I did a completed search on ebay for 1 6' midi cable and it was 8.95 free ship.
2 cables: $7.95 free ship
5 cables: $12.95 free ship
10 cables: $16.95 free ship
It's shipping that kinda ruins everything. Factoring out shipping, I've tried to make the cables around a buck each. I've pretty much made up the prices on the spot. My old boss probably won't be too happy with the prices haha since he's used to selling them for like 7 bucks each.
