I've a $200 budget and questions

I want a mic for vocals and acoustic git applications. Maybe miking an amp as well. Can't spend more than 2 bills. Most important is the vocal app.
I've been looking at the Rode NT1, Behringer B2, AKG 1000s and a hot price $79 for the Nady SCM900.
I wish I coud say I'm versed in mic theory and lingo but, I'm not
Any sugestions?

a Marshall mxlv67 or a Studio Projects C1 will do fine on all....Marshall is better in my opinion, but everybodys wetting their pants over the C1 right now......both come in around $200......

And the cool thing about the C1 is that much of it is made in China and the only person who would castigate you for this purchase probably won't see this thread before it dies!

I agree with gidge. Either a C-1 or a v67. I personally prefer the v67.

Stay away from a rode nt1. It horrible and I hate it.

what is up with the tension with this post

So I've decided to go with the marshall mxlv67 if I can find it and afford it.
Why is everyone waiting for the hammer to fall. I've obviously missed a lot. Is it that I have the dence audacity to put a limiting budget on a microphone? I realise that these things cost money in proportion to quality. What is up with the impending doom undertones of my normal, yet banal, question?

Thanks for the opinions and feedback. It was what I was looking for and has helped guide my search for a mild upgrade from what I currently work with.
