First let me say that as a lead synth player you are an amazing talent. Great leads, very tasty.
Second let me say that as a drum programmer you are seriously lacking. You were about one crash trigger away from inciting me to violence. That crash has got to go. It's obnoxious. ROMpler crashes just don't sound good, so my philosophy is to minimize their usage. If nothing else, get at least 2 or 3 samples and use different ones in different places in the song. Maybe use a splash cymbal on some of those hits as well. Rest of the drum groove was pretty static and uninteresting.
Hate to pigeonhole music but the rest of the track sounded pretty much like the soundtrack to an 80's brat pack movie. Like that part of the movie where they play some song by a group nobody remembers and the main characters get a bunch of stuff done and dance around and stuff. Either that or a corporate training video like you have to watch when you sign up to be a temp worker. Sorry, no offense, that's just my impression.
But like I said, you have the lead synth thing nailed. If you had some better backing tracks going I think it'd be really awesome.
