I got a new motherboard and turned off ACPI, switched to Standard PC mode, finally I just removed the SBLive! and everything worked fine. The Delta66 is still sharing an IRQ with my NIC but it doesn't seem to interfere (at least not noticably, where before recordnigs were unlistenable). Problem is I still need the SBLive to do MIDI for click tracks, sequencing, etc. I can't seem to trick my PC into assigning one of these a different IRQ, tried physically switching PCI slots and everything. The only thing I know could be an issue is I wasn't able to turn off "Plug and Play OS" in the MB BIOS because I can't actually find any such option on my MB's BIOS setup utility.
If I were able to get that disabled would it then give them different IRQs? Or should I maybe just look into a cheap MIDI solution which will do what the SBLive would've? Any recommendations?
Also, one other thought. My new motherboard, the ASUS A7N266-C (nVidia chipset 415-D) has a built in audio solution of some kind (APU) except I have no idea if it does any MIDI and most importantly, if it does, if there's anyway to get MIDI In/Out connected to it. Anyone with this MB know more about this?
