Hey guys,

I'm running a supped up 2011 27 inch iMac on cubase 7.5 and it seemed to be running fine until very recently. I could have 30 tracks with 3-4 plug-ins on most tracks and everything ran smoothly.

Suddenly, I'm running into (what I assume is) memory issues. The audio is starting to slow down, distort and just get nuts.

I am also going out of my way to not run other apps at the same time, refresh my RAM and things are still not working.

Is there some setting or something I need to tweak?

It's kind of driving me nuts.

Thanks!

Hello,

What audio interface do you have, and what is its Buffer settings?
As your project grows you should increase the Buffer size.
To do so go to: Devices > Device Setup > Your Sound card (the name of your interface) > Control Panel.

Best regards,
GN
