isolation box

im going to build a isolation box for my friends amp its gonna go like this
2X4 framing
regular house insulation
and some 3/4 wood but i dont know what kind of wood to use ..any suggestions

im doing this instead of building a room for guitar

Just use 2X4 wood studfs just like for building walls.

Make sure the box has a bottom that is also isolated from the floor.

what do you mean what kind of wood for 3/4. I would imagine that mdf would be the way to go, or even drywall might be better. Put multiple layers on there.

alright MDF it is i actually got some scrap MDF so that works
