I use my bedroom for recording. I need some way to isolate the drums. I've looked at those drum sheilds, but would they work well enough? Any opinions/suggestions? Thanks!

Sheilds

If your playing they suck! (Too much reflection/deflection.)
If you want to channel the sound then they work.
I would think more along the line off Bass traps.?

Uuugnn! There's really no such this as isolating drums as recording is concerned. If you're trying to isolate each drum from the other mics, that is. If you're trying to do live recording i.e. drums, guitar, bass at the same time, it might be better to isolate those instruments and leave the drums alone. The only good isolation I've seen is to create a tent for the bass drum with a packing blanket. If you record/tune correctly all the mics should play nice with each other and isolation isn't required.
